Overview:

The Coverage Evaluation Survey Post Mass Drug Administration aimed at;

  • Evaluating the proportion of the population treated during the Onchocerciasis MDA campaign
  • Validating the reported treatment coverage
  • Investigating reasons for non-participation in the MDA
  • Identify any adverse events and serious adverse events (SAEs)
  • Assess community knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) relating to Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs)

Methodology:

The study followed WHO guidelines for Preventive Chemotherapy Coverage Surveys and adopted a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through household surveys.
