Executive Summary:
Funded by USAID and implemented via IMA World Health under the MIHR program, this assessment examines the efficacy of the Boma Health Initiative (BHI) launched by the South Sudan government in 2017. The study aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within existing community health programs and to generate insights for planning effective interventions.
Methodology:
The study adheres to a cross-sectional descriptive design and employs qualitative research techniques. It evaluates governance and policy frameworks, including a detailed review of national and sub-national policies governing community health programs. Primary data collection methods encompass In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and Focus Group Discussions.
