Functionality Assessment of Water User Committees and Hygiene Promotion Activities in Lakes State

The assessment, funded by the Dutch Government and commissioned by Euro Consult Mott MacDonald, aimed to evaluate the performance of Water User Committees (WUC) and hygiene trainings conducted by implementing partners in Eastern Lakes State. It also sought to assess the sustainability of these interventions. The study employed descriptive cross-sectional methods, focusing exclusively on qualitative data. Data was gathered through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Key Informant Interviews, unstructured observations, and randomized village transect walks.
